Hoshizora Tetsudou to Shiro no Tabi — known in English as Starry Sky Railway and Shiro's Journey — is a narrative adventure title published by Hunex and released on December 11, 2025. This page gives you the full XCI package for the game, along with the technical details you need before you download. The file is 818 MB, the Title ID is 010045702355C000, and the supported languages are Japanese and Chinese. If you are building a Switch library around story-driven titles, this one belongs on your radar.

The game centers on a train that runs through darkness under a star-filled sky. Along the way, you meet a cast of unusual passengers, and each encounter adds another layer to the journey. Hunex has also packed in a gallery mode where you can browse stills and rare illustrations collected during play. It is a calm, character-focused experience rather than a high-action one, and that is exactly the point.

What You Get in This XCI Release

This is a physical-format XCI dump of the base game. The package contains the complete adventure as released on December 11, 2025, with no separate update or DLC file attached to this listing. That means you install one file and you have the full story, including the gallery mode that Hunex added for this release. The gallery is not a minor extra: it lets you revisit key stills and rare illustrations that you unlock as you progress, which gives the game replay value beyond a single playthrough.

The download section below offers three mirrors — DataNodes, 1Fichier, and MultiUp — so you can pick the host that works best with your connection. Each link points to the same 818 MB base game file. If a mirror is down, the comment section is the place to report it.

Key Features

• Story-driven train journey: The narrative follows a train running through darkness beneath a starry sky, with the journey itself serving as the framing device for the whole experience.
• Memorable passenger encounters: You interact with a cast of unique passengers, and each conversation shapes the tone and pacing of the trip.
• Gallery mode: A dedicated section for viewing stills and rare illustrations, giving you a reason to explore every scene.
• Adventure genre focus: The game is built around exploration and dialogue rather than combat, so the pacing stays relaxed and character-centered.
• Dual-language support: Japanese and Chinese text options are included in the base package.
• Compact file size: At 818 MB, the XCI fits comfortably on standard storage cards and downloads quickly on most connections.

Pros & Cons

• Pros:
  • Warm, character-focused storytelling that suits players who prefer narrative over action.
  • Gallery mode adds collectible value and encourages thorough exploration.
  • Small footprint at 818 MB makes it easy to keep on a card alongside other titles.
  • Three download mirrors give you fallback options if one host is slow.
• Cons:
  • Language support is limited to Japanese and Chinese — there is no English text option in this release.
  • No separate update or DLC file is listed, so any post-launch patches are not included here.
  • The adventure pacing is slow by design, which will not appeal to players looking for fast action.

Who This Game Is For

If you enjoy visual-novel-adjacent adventures, slice-of-life storytelling, or games built around conversation and atmosphere, this title fits that profile. The train setting gives the story a natural structure: each passenger is a chapter, and the journey moves forward as you meet them. Players who read Japanese or Chinese will get the most out of the dialogue, since those are the only languages in the package. If you need English support, check the eShop NSPs free download category for other options before committing to this file.

Fans of railway-themed games may also want to compare this with Go By Train Hashiro Yamanote Line, which takes a different approach to the train genre. The two titles share a setting interest but differ sharply in tone and structure, so they complement each other rather than overlap.

Version Freshness and Publisher Details

Hunex published this title on December 11, 2025, and the listing here reflects the base game release. No version number beyond the base build is specified in the source data, so treat any version label as an estimate rather than a confirmed patch level. The developer field lists Joker2.0. Because no changelog or update file is attached, you should not expect post-release fixes to be bundled in — what you download is what shipped at launch.

On the trust side, this page does not claim any malware scan or "100% clean" status, because that evidence is not part of the source data. What you can verify before installing is the file size (818 MB) and the Title ID (010045702355C000), which you can cross-check against your own records. If either value does not match what you see in your download, stop and report it in the comments.

Installation Guidance

The XCI format is a cartridge image, so the practical workflow is to place the file on your SD card and load it through your usual Switch file-management tool. Keep the filename intact so the Title ID stays readable, and confirm the 818 MB size after the transfer completes. Because this is a base-game-only package, you do not need to apply a separate update before playing. If you are new to XCI files, the general rule is simple: one file, one install, no patch chain to manage.

For players on Windows, Android, or iOS who are organizing files before transferring them to a card, the 818 MB size means the download finishes quickly even on modest connections. Store the file in a folder you can find later, and avoid renaming it to something that drops the Title ID.

Grab it from one of the mirrors above, verify the file size, and settle in for a trip under the stars.
